Halloween Photo Contest Continues

Whether you like your Halloween cute or spooky, there's no shortage of both in the Brandon News & Tribune's Halloween contest. So far, we have received more than 300 entries. But keep them coming. The second leg of the contest runs until midnight Nov. 7, and there's a $100 grand prize and an iPod nano portable media player up for grabs.

Up to five photos or drawings can be submitted per household. Anyone may enter, but winners must be 18 to claim a prize. TBO.com staff members will judge the contest.

Go to Brandon.tbo.com, enter keyword 'Brandon' and upload your photos by following the instructions to the SNAP! online photo gallery, or e-mail your photo to kbrady@tbo.com. Entries must include the photographer's name, address and phone number. You may also drop off photos at the Brandon News & Tribune office at 505 W. Robertson St., Brandon.

The first part of our contest ended Oct. 15. We picked four winners from those entries. Each winning photographer will receive four tickets to TBO.com's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Thursday at Disney's Magic Kingdom, a $50 Disney gift card and candy.

Winners at the party also will be eligible to enter a grand prize drawing for two Disney vacation packages that include four Disney park tickets, hotel accommodations and a $200 Disney gift card. The winner must be present at the party to be eligible for the grand prize package.

With so many great entries, we also awarded honorable mentions for photos that were viewed most online and judged 'cutest' and 'most creative.' Go to Brandon.tbo.com, click on 'Halloween Contest' and then click individual photos to see who earned these distinctions.
