Brad Paisley in Concert
The Ford Amphitheatre will present country singer Brad Paisley with special guest Rodney Atkins and Taylor Swift at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Brad Paisley has been nominated for Country Music Awards in five categories, including entertainer of the year, male vocalist of the year, album of the year and video of the year.
The Ford Amphitheatre is at 4802 U. S. 301 N., Tampa. Visitors are asked to enter through U. S. 301 N., or the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. entrance. Parking is Free.

Fun Fest for Seniors
Brandon Community Center, Hillsborough County Department of Aging Services, Brandon Community Center and Senior Connection will join forces to host the 11th annual Senior Fun Fest.
The event will begin with a warm-up walk at 8:15 a.m. Friday at the Brandon Community Center, 502 Sadie St., Brandon.
Seniors participating in the walk can call (813) 653-1988 in advance to register or can register at 8 a.m. at the center. The $4 donation fee includes a T-shirt, scavenger hunt, continental breakfast, goody bag and prizes.
Doors will be open for inside entertainment from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The Fun Fest will include live entertainment, acrobatics, free bingo games for prizes, giveaways and free health screenings sponsored by Tampa General Hospital.
Eddie River, known as the Brooklyn Cowboy, will perform a tribute to Elvis. Jeannie Rossi will perform songs from the '50s and '60s. Call (813) 653-1988 for information.
Hitchcock's 'Vertigo'
This week's movie offering at the Winthrop Town Center will be Alfred Hitchcock's thriller 'Vertigo.'
The film will begin at 9 p.m. on the east wall of Publix supermarket at Providence Road and Bloomingdale Avenue in Riverview.
The movie is about a San Francisco detective, John 'Scottie' Ferguson, played by James Stewart, who suffers from vertigo and is hired to investigate a friend's wife. Other cast members include Kim Novak and Barbara Bel Geddes.
The free movie is being offered as part of a family Friday night summer movie series. Bring a blanket or beach chair, or borrow a green tarp on a first-come, first-served basis. For information, call Linda Chion Kenney at (813) 601-3180.
'Chapter Two'
Stagedoor Performing Arts will present the Neil Simon comedy 'Chapter Two,' directed by Maurice Cecchini on Friday and Saturday A social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 and the show at 8.
The event will be held at the Center Place Fine Arts & Civic Association, 619 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon. Tickets are $25 per person, all inclusive. Call (813) 685-8888.

Smokey Mountain Tale
Popular local playwright Terry Abbott presents the latest in his series of musical productions with The Village Players' production of 'Moonshine: A Smokey Mountain Tale' at the historic Valrico Civic Center through September.
Set during the 1880s, the plot follows two feuding clans of moonshiners. The mood is set with lots of American folk music featuring banjos, mandolin, guitar and fiddle in selections such as 'John Henry,' 'Wayfaring Stranger,' 'Old Dan Tucker' and 'Red River Valley.'
