ZONING DECISIONS

East Lake
•Giving the developer the option of building up to 92,000 square feet of warehouse space on 8.84 acres on the east side of Maple Lane, about 900 feet south of U.S. 301. The property had been approved for 95 town homes. MM 08-0713.
Hopewell
•Approving a $13,782 Historic Preservation Grant for the owners of the McDonald House at 301 Old Hopewell Road. The money will help the homeowners make exterior improvements to the landmark building.
Keysville
•Subdividing 4.41 acres at the northeast corner of County Road 39 and Keysville Road into two parcels. One would have the six apartments, and the remaining 1.47 acres would be approved for commercial uses. SU 08-0703.
Palm River
•Installing five speed humps on 58th Street from Palm River Road to S. 16th Avenue.
•Installing four speed humps on 58th Street from S. 16th Avenue to S. 24th Avenue.
•Installing four speed humps on Maydell Drive from Palm River Road to S. 16th Avenue.
•Installing four speed humps on Maydell Drive from S. 16th Avenue to S. 24th Avenue.
•Installing two speed humps on S. 12th Avenue from 58th Street to Maydell Drive
•Installing three speed humps on S. 16th Avenue from 56th Street to Maydell Drive.
•Installing two speed humps on S. 20th Street from 58th Street to Maydell Drive.
Seffner
•Allowing restricted intensive commercial uses and open storage on 1.83 acres at the northeast corner of U.S. 92 and Castlewood Road. RZ 08-0573.
•Subdividing 1.76 acres on the east side of Valrico Road, about 650 feet south of Wheeler Road, into as many as three home lots. RZ 08-0750.
•Building 6,000 square feet of neighborhood commercial space on .78 acres at the southwest corner of County Road 579 and Old Hillsborough Avenue. RZ 08-0807.
Riverview
•Modifying the zoning of 1.53 acres on the east side of Krycul Road, about 350 feet north of St. Rose Court, to allow 4,500 square feet of indoor recreational space. The change would add a contractor's office or off-site catering space to the approved uses for the remaining 10,500 square feet of approved commercial space. The property had been approved for a warehouse facility. MM 08-0714.
Thonotosassa
•Subdividing 4.54 acres on the south side of Joe Ebert Road, about 200 feet west of Tom Folsom Road, into three home or mobile home lots. RZ 08-0708.
Trapnell
•Installing six speed humps on Coward Road, three from E. Trapnell Road to where Coward Road curves east and three from the curve to Smith Ryals Road.
Valrico
•Allowing professional offices on 1.78 acres at the southeast corner of Lithia-Pinecrest Road and Williams Boulevard. RZ 08-0806.
•Building 110,000 square feet of retail space and offices on 15.79 acres at the northeast corner of Dover Road and State Road 60, divided into five buildings with a main shopping plaza and four smaller commercial parcels. Part of the property, 10.03 acres, was approved for 45,000 square feet of neighborhood commercial space and 5,000 square feet of offices. Commissioners said the developer must work out an agreement with a neighboring church about sharing a driveway on Dover Road before the site plan can be approved. RZ 07-1901.
