Santa Claus Is Coming

Have Breakfast With Santa

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon will host its annual fundraising Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center, 405 Beverly Blvd. Activities will include games, drawings, a bounce house, face painting, balloons and more. Proceeds will benefit Brandon area schools' Kiwanis Club Terrific Kids programs. Cost is $7.50 per person, free for ages three and younger. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Resource Center Hosts Winter Fest

The Family Support & Resource Center, in the Kingsway Plaza at the intersection of Windhorst Road and Kingsway Avenue, will host a free, family-friendly event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. There will be face painting, temporary tattoos and crafts for kids. Goodie bags will be given to children on a first come, first served basis. Santa will be on hand to greet children and pose for photos. Refreshments will be served. Call (813) 740-4634.

Market, Fair Offer Many Crafts

The Summerfield Community Center will host its annual holiday craft fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Vendors will offer an array of handmade crafts, including decorative glass plates, wood crafts, candles, angels, antiques and collectibles, jewelry, children's gift and books, kitchen gadgets, holiday items and more. Santa will arrive at noon to meet children. Summerfield Community Center is at 13011 Summerfield Blvd., Riverview. Call (813) 671-4568.
Music Showcase Offers Craft Fest
Music Showcase is seeking vendors to participate in its annual Christmas festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The all-day family event will feature live entertainment, a rock-climbing wall, a bounce house, food and student recitals. Santa will be on hand to greet children. The Chick-fil-A cow also will take part in the festivities. Cost for a booth is $35 and includes a table and chairs. Call Wendi Pruitt at (813)-685-5998.

Horses, Ponies At Fairgrounds

The American Driving Society will host The Arena Driving Trials at the Charlie Lykes Arena and Pony Ring at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa. The competition will start at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Performances by horses and ponies will include dressage, cones, hazards and obstacles. Entry fees and stall rental charges will apply to participants. Admission and parking is free for spectators. Visitors are asked to enter the fairgrounds at the Orient Road entrance. Tree Sales To Benefit Kids

First United Methodist Church is selling Christmas trees in the parking lot at 115 N. Knights Ave., Brandon, behind the Grand Prix Car Wash one block north of State Road 60 between Kings and Parsons avenues. Tree sales have been a tradition for the church for more than 40 years. Proceeds will benefit the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.

The lot is open from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturdays and noon-6 p.m. Sundays. Prices depend on size.
