Chamber Is Helping Diners Stretch Dollars

BRANDON - The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce recently added a new item to its menu of programs that support small businesses and promote economic growth on a local level.

"Dining Dollars" cards, on sale now for five bucks a pop, entitle card holders to special discounts at 16 chamber-affiliated eateries in the Brandon area. The cards are valid anytime the holder dines at participating restaurants now through May.

Tom Reagin, the chamber's vice president of sales, said the program does double duty by supporting chamber members and providing discounts to local consumers.

Restaurants offering 10 percent off the cardholder's bill are Beef O'Brady's - Best Western, 9331 Adamo Drive, Tampa; Bernie's Deli, 9417 Princess Palm Ave., Tampa; Giordano's, 11310 Causeway Blvd., Brandon; Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers, 10959 Causeway Blvd., Brandon; The Olive Tree Greek and Italian Restaurant, 921 Lithia Pinecrest Road.; Philly Connection/Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 1536 W Brandon Blvd., Brandon; Regency Park Deli & Cafe, 2492 W Brandon Blvd., Brandon and Sweetie's Delights Bakery, 1050 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico.

Cardholders receive 15 percent off their bill at All Stars Italian American Grill, 15260 Fish Hawk Blvd Lithia; The Cuban Place Cafe, 1232 Kingsway Rd., Brandon; Formaggio's, 19531 Boyette Rd Lithia and Tres Amigos, 2025 Brandon Blvd., Brandon.
Free dessert with the purchase of an entree is offered at Fireside Grille & Bar, 16132 Churchview Dr Lithia; Village Inn; 1995 W Lumsden Rd, Brandon; and Sinigual, Westfield Brandon mall. Diners who buy one entree get one free at Chick-n-Go, 957 Brandon Blvd., Suite 100, Brandon.
