Roads To Close During Parade

ROADS CLOSE DURING PARADE

BRANDON - The following area roads will be closed Friday to make way for the Brandon Fourth of July Parade. Brandon Regional Hospital will be accessible from Oakfield Drive.

•Lumsden Road from Kings Avenue to Parsons Avenue will be closed from 7:45 to 11 a.m.

•Parsons Avenue between Lumsden and Robertson Street, and Robertson between Parsons and Buckingham Place, will be closed from 9:45 a.m. until the parade ends at noon.

•Lumsden Road exits for Hilltop and Stanberry drives and Meadow and Edgemont lanes will be closed from 8 until about 11 a.m.

•Vonderburg Drive at Parsons Avenue and entrances to the Parsons Run and Parsons Lake apartment complexes will be closed to all traffic from 9:45 a.m. to noon.

•The parade route, which runs north on Parsons Avenue from Lumsden Road to Robertson Street, then west on Robertson to Buckingham Place, will be closed from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
