TECO Work Closes Mulrennan Southbound Lane

BRANDON The southbound lane of Mulrennan Road will be periodically closed until Monday afternoon while Tampa Electric. Co. crews replace an electric pole, a county official said today.
The work will be done during daytime hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to avoid creating traffic problems during rush hour, said county community relations coordinator Patrick Murray.
The lane will be closed periodically at Mulrennan's intersection with Brooke Drive, at which time workers will direct drivers in both directions to use the northbound lane alternately.
