Gun Show Returns To Fairgrounds
Suncoast Guns Show and Sale returns to the Charles M. Davis Special Events Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The event will feature nearly 400 tables with firearms and accessories, including gun parts, tools, knives, cases, locks, cartridge boxes and belts and ammunition for collectors. Admission is $8 for adults and free for ages 12 and younger.
A safety course on concealed weapons and firearms safety is $40. Preregistration is not required. Parking is $5 for cars and $10 for RVs and buses. Enter the fairgrounds via the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard entrance.

Stand Back: Here Comes Stevie Nicks
Live Nation will present Stevie Nicks in concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ford Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.

Treat Dad To Gardening Seminar
Give Dad a unique Father's Day gift this year when Bay Gardens at 9107 N. Taylor Road, Seffner offers plant seminars to help dads shine up their green thumbs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 12-14.
Topics will include choosing the appropriate plant material, ideal locations to plant, irrigation requirements, fertilization, pruning and identifying and treating pests. A variety of plants will be available for purchase.

Shana Banana Throws A Beach Party
Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association at 619 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon, will feature Shana Banana, an award-winning singer, songwriter and children's entertainer, from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. June 19 at the children's theater.
She has a master's degree in oceanography and will merge her talents to throw a beach party with an oceanic and environmental theme for children in preschool through third grade. Tickets are $5 for members and $6 for nonmembers. Call (813) 685-8888.
Know When To Hold 'Em, Fold 'Em
The Brandon Sports & Aquatic Center at 405 Beverly Blvd., Brandon, will host Casino Night from 7 to 10 p.m. June 21.
The event will feature black jack, roulette, craps, poker, swimming, food, beverages and silent auction. Tickets are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples in advance, $40 for individuals and $60 for couples at the door.

Go Green With Stewardship
Become a steward for the environment by taking a 32-hour course offered by the University of Florida and Hillsborough County Extension Office on the cultivation and care of trees and woodlands.
Courses are offered at the extension office, 5339 County Road 579, Seffner. Participants learn the ecology-based approach to managing community trees and forests, including tree identification, care and maintenance, pest management, value assessment and more and go on two field trips. They also serve 30 volunteer hours in their communities.
Classes are limited to 20 students. The $50 fee includes a workbook and resource material.
