Local Actors Perform 'Murder In Sparkleville'

Brandon area actors will perform in Murders She Wrote's dinner performance of the comedy "Murder in Sparkleville" at 6 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 20967 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater.

The story is about an infamous New York talent scout attending a gala event where unexpected secrets are revealed. The audience may be asked to participate.

Performers include Tisha Anglin-Goble, Pepper McGowan, Heather Cazzola, Richard Buckley, Jill Revelle and Cindy St. Lawrence.

Country Music Comes To Town

Live Nation will present country singer Toby Keith with Montgomery Gentry in concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Ford Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa. Tickets are $73.75 and $49.75 for reserved seating or $34.50 for general admission lawn seating. Visitors are asked to use the U.S. 301 North or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard entrances.

A Musical Celebration For America's Families

Faith and patriotism will join forces when First United Methodist Church, 120 N. Knights Ave., Brandon, hosts a one-hour celebration of songs, prayer and worship at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

AMC Entertainment is offering $1 tickets for family movies rated G and PG on Wednesdays during Summer Movie Camp at AMC Regency 20, 2496 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon. Doors open at 9 a.m., and shows begin at 10 a.m. Movies are scheduled on the following dates:

Hot Summer Programs Offered At Libraries

Live performances, music, magic, comedy and books that will excite, encourage and entertain even the most reluctant readers are all part of the "Wander the Wide World of Reading" summer program at Hillsborough County libraries.

The Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative and the Hillsborough County School District have teamed up to offer activities for students in kindergarten through fifth grade during June, July and August. Summer reading lists are available at www .hcplc.org/hcplc/justkids.
