Comedy Couple Take On Life
The unique husband-and-wife comedy team Amy Barnes and Jerry Miner will take to the stage at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 120 Knights Ave., Brandon. Their brand of comedy takes on everything from eHarmony, marriage and in-laws to staying on a budget while holding on to your 401k.

'Into The Woods'
The nonprofit theater troupe Stagedoor Performing Arts will present the wickedly witty tale of "Into The Woods" at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Nov. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at the Limona Village Chapel, 408 Limona Road, Brandon.
The Tony Award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim follows a baker and his wife who journey into the woods to lift a witch's curse.

A Vets Day Fest
Commemorate Veterans Day early this year when the Greater Seffner Area Chamber of Commerce presents Veterans Day Seffner Fest at the First Baptist Church of Mango, 11619 E. Martin Luther King Blvd., Seffner.
Speeches honoring veterans will part of the program during the event from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Bring two canned goods or a donation, and Hungry Harry's will give you a free barbecue lunch between 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Food donations will benefit the I Am Hope Cafe, a new soup kitchen in Mango. Monetary donations will go to Seffner area charities.

All Weekend
Gifts Galore
Get a jump on holiday shopping and support a good cause when the Junior League of Tampa hosts its annual holiday fundraising event in the Sweetbay Entertainment Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. More than 120 vendors will offer clothing, jewelry, art, home decor and more. Junior League of Tampa Culinary Collection cookbooks also will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the Junior League, a nonprofit group that invests in community improvement through volunteerism.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for ages 12 and younger. Parking is $5 for cars and $10 for RVs and buses. Visitors are asked to enter the fairgrounds at the U.S. 301 entrance. Call (813) 254-1734 or go to jltampa.org.
Tuesday
Tribute To Vets
The Veterans Council of Hillsborough County and the Hillsborough County High Schools Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps will join forces to honor all Tampa Bay area veterans at 11 a.m. Veterans Day at Veterans Memorial Museum and Park, 3602 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
The program will include color guards, parade formations, drill demonstrations, museum tours, military displays, complementary hot dogs, beverages and dessert and viewings of Operation Field of Honor, where thousands of American flags represent soldiers who died fighting the war on terrorism.
