A Riverview man is accused of bilking a Sam's Club store out of about $3,600 in tobacco and grocery items, an affidavit states.
Mohamed Rashid Abu-Khdeir, 28, was released from a Hillsborough County Jail on Thursday after posting $10,000 bail. He was charged with felony grand theft and felony organized scheming to defraud, records show.
According to an affidavit, Abu-Khdeir visited a Sam's Club store on West Brandon Boulevard several times from Sept. 1 through Thursday, each time buying assorted tobacco and grocery items.
Abu-Khdeir then returned to the store, selected similar items and presented receipts from his previous purchases as proof of payment, the affidavit states.
