27th Annual Mustang, Shelby Roundup
Like Mustangs? The Mustang Club of Tampa will host its 27th annual Mustang, Shelby and Ford Roundup at the Museum of Science & Industry, featuring some 250 Mustangs, Shelbys and Ford-powered new and classic cars and trucks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participating vehicles will register from 8 to 10 a.m. Owners of vehicles will receive two free passes to MOSI.
The museum is at 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa. Trophies and door prizes will be awarded. Admission is free for spectators and $25 for entrants of participating vehicles.

All Weekend
Gems, Minerals, Jewels At The Fair
Check out these gems. The Tampa Bay Mineral and Science Club will host its 49th annual Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show in the Sweetbay Entertainment Hall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
Activities will include classes to learn how to make jewelry, fossil and mineral exhibits, and more.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students in kindergarten through 12th grade and free for ages 5 and younger. Parking is $5 for cars and $10 for RVs and buses. Visitors are asked to enter the fairgrounds at the U.S. 301 N. entrance.
Walking And Crafting For A Cure
The Pottery Patch will host its annual Create For A Cure event to benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides financial support for breast cancer research.
There will be giveaways, drawings, a silent auction, a pumpkin painting contest for children and more from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, at 10 a.m. Saturday and from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Pottery Patch, 2551 State Road 60 E., Valrico.
The walk will start at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Plaza Bella shopping center, Bloomingdale Avenue and Bell Shoals Road. Call (813) 643-0014.
Upcoming
Scare Up Some Fun At Haunted House
Enjoy some good, clean, frightening fun when the Fisher family hosts its annual haunted house walk-through from 7 to 11 p.m. Halloween night, Oct. 31.
This year's theme will be "Asylum," featuring strobe lights, loud, scary sounds and ghouls. Donations will be accepted to benefit a local child in need of medical care.
The Fishers' home is at 4404 Castlebar Way, Valrico.
