Night Construction Closes Causeway

TAMPA - Causeway Boulevard will be closed between 78th Street and Maydell Drive tonight, Thursday and Jan. 19 to 22 to accommodate a road widening project, state Department of Transportation officials said.
The road will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured around the work zone using Palm River Road with the help of message boards.
DOT officials said motorists should expect delays but will continue to have access to local businesses.
