Motorcyclist killed in Lithia

LITHIA - A 23-year-old man was killed this afternoon when a Ford pickup truck turned in front of him, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office reported.
Jeffrey K. Moses, of Lithia, was traveling north on Lithia-Pinecrest Road about 1:20 p.m. when a 2007 Ford F-150, driven by 76-year-old Leo D. Quinn, of Lithia, reportedly made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, sheriff's officials said.
The accident occurred in front of FishHawk Trails Drive.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike and died at the scene.
The sheriff's office is continuing its investigation.
