Clayton Park to close for improvements

BRANDON - Clayton Park, home of the South Brandon Little League, will close July 20 for improvements.
The park, at 800 Parsons Avenue, will be closed through August while workers upgrade the field fencing, batting cage, dugouts, benches, scoring tables and parking lot.
The construction was scheduled during baseball's off-season to limit the impact on park programs. The $150,000 project is funded by the county's R3M program, which provides money to repair, renovate, replace and maintain aging facilities.
