SEFFNER - Learn how to plant for wildlife in 90 minutes.
The Hillsborough County Extension Office will host a seminar Aug. 5 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Landscaping for Florida's Wildlife, headed by county forester Rob Northrop.
The extension office is located at 5229 County Road 579 in Seffner.
This will be the first in a series of three classes concerning wildlife around the homes and communities. Topics include where to begin, the basics of planning landscape for wildlife, specific steps for creating a wildlife-friendly landscape and nuisance wildlife.
Dates for the two remaining seminars will be announced for September and October.
There is no charge for the seminar, but those planning to attend should register by contacting Carol Carson at (813) 744-5519, Ext. 104.
