Josh Chapin is moving on.
The Bloomingdale High boys basketball coach confirmed Tuesday he has accepted as a position at Brandon as an Assistant Principal for Student Affairs.
"I found out last Tuesday," he said. "I start (Wednesday)."
In seven seasons as head coach, Chapin compiled a 96-82 record and took the Bulls to the playoffs three times, each trip as the district runner-up.
"It's just the right time," he said. "For my family, myself and my career path, it's the right choice."
Bloomingdale will graduate its entire starting five, which included high-scoring forwards Callum Townsend and Joe Raga.
