During a drug deal April 5, a Tampa man took out a handgun, demanded money and a shot one person in the chest and another in the groin, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested Anthony Michael Miller, 18, of Riverview, on Wednesday afternoon. He was charged with attempted murder and attempted robbery with a firearm.
The victims were treated at Tampa General Hospital following the shooting at a Lowe's parking lot at 11375 Causeway Blvd. The suspect left the scene with others in a light colored sport utility vehicle.
Miller remains in Orient Road Jail. No bail has been set.
A co-defendant in the case, 20-year-old Sam Wesley Solomon of Valrico, was arrested April 16. He also was charged with attempted murder and attempted robbery. Solomon remains in Falkenburg Road Jail with no bail set.
The victims identified Miller as their attacker. Solomon also positively identified Miller "as one who made a demand of the victims, and who fired a gun at the victims," an arrest report states.
