Little League teams vie for President's Cup today

Winners play Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to decide on the finalists for the championship game, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the South Brandon Little League field on Parsons Avenue in Brandon.

BRANDON - This weekend, local Little League teams are playing for the President's Cup in the Tournament of Champions. On Friday night, in the Junior Division, the North Brandon D'Backs beat the East Bay American Rays 9-3.

Tournament play continues today, with Belmont Heights playing South Brandon, beginning at 10 a.m., Pinecrest playing Bloomingdale National at 1 p.m. and Bloomingdale American playing South Brandon American at 4 p.m.

The North Brandon team plays the Southeast team at 7 p.m. tonight.
