GrillSmith New American Cuisine has opened at Westfield Brandon mall in the spot previously occupied by Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse.
The restaurant is the sixth in a chain operated by Mark and Bob Johnston of The Melting Pot and Todd Dziubek, former managing partner of a Carrabba's Italian Grill. The menu features such items as a Shrimp and Crab Burger, and Filet Tip Egg Rolls with marinated filet tips, shiitake mushrooms, scallions, blue cheese and caramelized onions.
The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. It features a large bar and family-size seating in the dining room plus meeting spaces with flat-screen TVs for conferences and parties.
