Keep THE Bus Running I am one of the "seniors" who ride THE Bus and the ADA to take me to all my doctors and take me shopping. I also use THE Bus to do my volunteer work at Oak Hill Hospital for the past 18 years, helping patients and nurses who work hard in the ER. We are needed, and it makes me feel good. I hope that some in Congress recognize the tremendous amount of pork/paybacks that this stimulus bill contains: $2.4 billion for carbon capture products; $4.19 billion for Acorn, who is under federal investigation for voter fraud across the Northeast; $400 million for more global warming research; $50 million for National Endowment of The Arts; $200 million for refurbishing the National Mall. The law mandates rigorous tests for lead levels in children's toys, clothes and other items.
