It's said that charity begins at home. On Thanksgiving Day, a number of businesses partnered with scores of volunteers to feed almost 500 people during the second annual South Shore Big Give at Beanie's Family Sports Grill in Ruskin. Besides Beanie's, other businesses that participated in one capacity or another were South Bay Hospital, the South Shore Gallery, Ruskin Chamber of Commerce, Weichert Realtors - Southshore, Zipperer's Funeral Home & Crematory and the SouthShore Community Service Center.
