The 5th Judicial Circuit Court Guardian ad Litem Program will offer free training for anyone who is interested in becoming a Guardian ad Litem volunteer. The professional staff of the program recruits, trains and supervises individuals who are then court-appointed to advocate for the best interests of children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected and are now in the Foster Care System. Officials at Walt Disney World Resort were investigating what caused the first fatal accident in the 38-year history of the park's Monorail, a one-time symbol of founder Walt Disney's vision for future transportation.
