How many people read every last page in the Highlands Today? I did today; a nice quiet Sunday, and guess what I found? It was an announcement from the U.S. Navy. The Navy has announced that it has indefinitely suspended its plans to drop live bombs at the Avon Park Bombing Range; why? Well not because of the hundreds of signatures my sister and I were able to collect standing out in front of Big Lots last year, to protest it.
